When I came up with this name, my wife IMMEDIATELY, shot it down. So, I did what any good husband would do, which is drop the subject, go straight to our printer, order a ton of labels, and then send to 4 of her friends for feedback, to get them on my side before she could shoot it down again. Yes, straight manipulation. Sure, I’m still sleeping on the couch, but this name was worth it to me.
I find our best names are those that are derived from controversy. Boyfriend Stealer was not named after anyone in south florida, so for those of you who think I named a drink after you, that’s not the case with Boyfriend Stealer. Feel free to come at me and I will gladly name a drink after you:)
I was different many years ago. I lived a different life. I hung out with a “rough” crowd. A crowd that closed down clubs, partied for weeks at a time, and prioritized school in my bottom list of priorities. When you date girls like Trixie, Roxie, Laura Lee, and other girls called up on the main stage, you witness a lifestyle where girls steal other girls boyfriends and boys steal other guys girlfriends. It was kind of like the 2005 version of the 70’s, just with cooler music and hotter clothing. Trixie went by many names back in the day. Not all of them I can put in print. She didn’t end up in detox because she was a choir girl. She was a boyfriend stealer, any way you put it.
Boyfriend Stealer is another hidden gem from MOJ in our quest to help clients heal and thrive in their everyday lives. This is a no fruit, hard core drink, with just the right balance of ginger, lemon and mint to make it taste great.
