It’s South Florida Farmers Market and Green Market season!

Every fall in South Florida, local farmers and craftsman make their goods ready for sale and set up shop in urban locales – and we love ‘em for it. Is there a better way to begin your weekend than to stroll through an open air market drooling over fresh vine-ripened tomatoes or sampling bushels of berries? Yeah, we didn’t think so.

Farmers’ Markets are sprouting up in South Florida by the handful. Here are some of our favorite spots to get fresh, organic, local fruits and vegetables!

Deerfield Beach Green Market

Sunday mornings in Deerfield Beach welcome the Deerfield Beach Green Market from 8am to 2pm at The Cove Shopping Center. Enjoy a morning with family, friends and neighbors during the day and fill your belly with Deerfield’s Food Truck Invasion on select nights.

Parkland Farmers Market

For a Farmers Market that’s packed with activities for the kids, then head west to Parkland for the Parkland Farmer’s Market. Parkland’s Equestrian Center hosts the market every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 9am to 1pm from November through March. Expect bounce houses, live music, demonstrations and more for families to enjoy.

Boca Raton GreenMarket

Located near Mizner Park, the Boca Raton GreenMarket blends a morning at the market right into an afternoon of window shopping. On Saturday mornings from 8am-1pm, October through May, shop from over 40 vendors selling everything from produce and baked goods to handmade doggie treats and soaps.

Delray Beach GreenMarket

The Delray Beach GreenMarket has become another Saturday morning charmer with over 65 vendors featuring farm-to-form produce, raw milk and artisan goods. Follow their blog to keep up to date with vendor news, exclusive recipes and tons of more surprises.

West Palm Beach GreenMarket

The West Palm Beach GreenMarket pops up from 9am-1pm every Saturday from now through May Downtown along the Waterfront. The WPB GreenMarket has become one of South Florida’s longest running farmer’s markets since it made its first appearance in October of 1994. Farmers have come to trust The GreenMarket as a promising venue for their wares and now represents over 70 vendors to bring in wholesome products at honest prices.
